AI Image Generation Toolkit for Product Teams
Practical workflows for generating hero art, UI mockups, and mood boards with AI while keeping brand consistency.
Define the creative sandbox
Before touching a model, I collect brand palettes, typography specs, and composition rules. Those become negative and positive prompts so the AI never strays from the visual story we need.
Tools I rely on
Midjourney is my choice for conceptual mood boards because it excels at lighting and texture. When I need pixel-perfect UI, I move to Ideogram or Figma’s Make Design feature to maintain component fidelity. For photoreal product shots, I leverage Stable Diffusion with ControlNet to lock the layout.
- ▹Midjourney: art direction and cinematic hero shots
- ▹Ideogram / DALL·E: UI scaffolding with text legibility
- ▹Stable Diffusion + ControlNet: on-brand variants at scale
Post-processing is mandatory
Every render goes through a polish pass in Figma or Photoshop to fix hands, typography, and aspect ratios. I also keep a legal checklist to verify licensing and watermark removal before assets move downstream.
